ACT, or Authorised Consignee for the TIR Procedure, is a customs procedure used in the international transport of goods under the TIR Convention. The TIR Convention is an international customs transit system that allows goods to be transported across multiple international borders without the need for the goods to be physically inspected at each border crossing.
