ACR, or Authorised Consignor for Union Transit, is a customs procedure used in the European Union (EU) to facilitate the movement of goods in transit between different customs territories. ACR allows approved businesses, known as Authorised Consignors (AC), to dispatch goods under the transit procedure from their own premises, rather than having to transport the goods to a customs office or designated transit point.
