New Feature: ERVS Integration for AES Operations

We are pleased to announce the integration of the Export Release Verification System (ERVS) into the iCustoms platform.

What is ERVS?

ERVS is the communication channel used to verify that goods declared for export have actually been presented and released for departure. It serves as the electronic handshake that closes the export loop, ensuring that the "Proof of Export" is recorded correctly for regulatory purposes.

Functionalities:

1. Release Request
2. Departure Confirmation

How to Use ERVS in iCustoms:

1. Navigate: Go to the ROS Dashboard and select the Export Tab.
2. Select Declaration: Locate your AES declaration.
3. Submission: Choose between Release Request or Departure Confirmation based on the current stage of your logistics operation.

Important Prerequisites:

To ensure a successful submission, please verify the following:

1. ROS Digital Certificate: Your account must be authenticated with a valid certificate to sign these messages.
2. EORI Authorization: Your EORI must be authorized by Revenue specifically for ERVS messaging.

This update provides a seamless, end-to-end export workflow, removing the need for external manual portals and keeping all your compliance data in one place.
