1. Scope of this Release: Excise warehouse profile — alcohol, tobacco, and vaping products held under duty suspension in an approved excise warehouse. Supports multiple warehouses across different locations.

1. Release Summary

iWarehouse is now live as your dedicated stock account and duty record for excise warehouses. It captures every movement into and out of the premises, maintains a running balance for each product, attributes duty to the entries under which goods were received, and produces the figures that underpin the W1 return. A single product master, a full movement ledger, incident tracking, reconciliation, reporting, and an end-to-end audit trail come together in one module — designed around how excise warehouses actually operate.

Product Inventory

1. Overview / What's New: A single product master maintained alongside the ledger. Product attributes are held once and applied consistently across movements and reporting — no duplication, no drift between records.
2. Key Benefit: One source of truth for every product in the warehouse — attributes stay consistent everywhere they're used.

Movement Ledger

1. Overview / What's New: The central record of the warehouse. Every receipt and removal is recorded as a line in an editable grid.
2. How it Works / How to Use:Capture on every line: Direction, Movement Type, Date, Product, Category, Owner of Goods, Quantity, and Measurements.
3. Bulk Volume, Bulk Weight, LPA, and Tobacco Quantity are derived automatically from unit values and quantity — no manual calculation.
4. Use the Column Manager to show, hide, reorder columns, and add new columns.
5. Filter, sort, search, and paginate across the full ledger.
6. CSV import and export for bulk operations and integration with your existing tools.
7. Key Benefit: A complete, editable operational record of the warehouse with the derived duty-relevant figures calculated automatically as you go.

W1 Reconciliation

1. Overview / What's New: Reconciliation by product category, structured in the shape of the W1 return — opening stock, adjustments, receipts, removals, and closing stock — expressed in cases, casks, and litres, with a separate set of lines for tobacco.
2. How it Works / How to Use:Generate the reconciliation for the period — populated directly from the movement ledger and closed incidents.
3. Review the output, which provides the figures required to complete the W1 return.
4. Key Benefit: No manual collation from ledgers and side-workings — the W1 figures are produced directly from the data you've already captured.

Incidents

1. Overview / What's New: Record breakage, shortage, theft, and spoilage against the affected stock. Each incident has a status tracked until closed, and the closed incident is automatically reflected on the movement ledger and the W1 reconciliation.
2. How it Works / How to Use:Open an incident against the affected stock, capture the details, and manage it through to closure.
3. On close, the impact flows into your ledger and reconciliation automatically.
4. Key Benefit: Incidents live in the same system as your stock and duty record — no separate log, no missed events at reconciliation time.

Reports

1. Overview / What's New: A summary of the warehouse position, filtered by date range or shown across all periods. Reports include:
2. Headline figures — bottles in bond, cases received, cases removed, and LPA in bond.
3. Net position by product — cases, bottles, ABV, and LPA for every product held.
4. Closing stock — monthly closing balance charted in bottles and LPA.
5. Key Benefit: Operational and compliance visibility at a glance, without building reports outside the system.

Audit Trail

1. Overview / What's New: Version snapshots of each record, side-by-side comparison of changes, and notes held against individual rows.
2. Key Benefit: Full traceability of what changed, when, and why — supporting both internal control and external inspection.
