We've launched 10 new improvements to IDP this release to help you process documents faster, keep your team organized, and cut down on manual cleanup.
1. Edit Contact in IDP
You can now edit contact details directly from within IDP, without needing to jump to another screen or system. This keeps party information accurate right where you're already working, saving time when a customer or supplier detail changes mid review.
2. Certificate List and Tariff Details in IDP
IDP now surfaces certificate lists and tariff details alongside your document data. This gives your team the compliance context they need at a glance, reducing the back and forth of checking separate reference sources during review.
3. Split Templates for Excel and Files by Field
Excel and file export templates can now be split according to the fields you choose. This makes it easier to tailor outputs for different downstream systems or teams, so everyone gets exactly the data they need in the format they expect.
4. Measures Enhancements and Redesigned Conversion Icon
We've improved the measures functionality and given the conversion icon a cleaner, more intuitive design. Your team will find it faster to spot and trigger unit conversions, cutting down on confusion during data entry.
5. Document Assignments
You can now assign documents directly to team members within IDP. This brings clear ownership to every document in the queue, so nothing falls through the cracks, and workload is easy to track across the team.
6. Subject Value Added to Document Name from iMail
Documents received through iMail now carry the email subject line into the document name. This makes it much easier to trace a document back to its original email thread, especially when managing high volumes of inbound correspondence.
7. Multiple Totals for Multiple Invoices or Packing Lists
When a submission includes more than one invoice or packing list, IDP can now show multiple totals instead of a single combined figure. This gives your team a clearer, more accurate view of each document's values without losing sight of the bigger picture.
8. Option to Ignore Other Documents and Keep Base Document in Combine
Combine now supports keeping just the base document and ignoring the rest when that's all you need. This gives your team more control over what gets merged, avoiding unnecessary combinations that add noise to the final output.
9. Simplified Header UI with Contact Name
The header has been redesigned to show just the contact's name and its details in a single clean line. This declutters the screen and helps your team find the information they need without digging through extra fields.
10. Tips and Instructions for Manual Upload, Plus a Design Refresh
Manual Upload now includes helpful tips and instructions alongside an updated design. This makes the screen more approachable for new users and reduces the learning curve when uploading documents manually.
