What's New in IDP — August 2026

We've launched 8 new improvements to IDP this release to help you process documents faster, keep data cleaner, and stay aligned with GB customs requirements.

1. Bulk Page Deselection by Document Type

You can now unselect multiple pages at once based on document type, instead of clicking through each page individually. This is especially useful when a batch contains several document types and you only need to work with a few of them. It cuts down on repetitive clicking and speeds up your page selection workflow.

2. Draw Box Auto Two-Digit Code Conversion

When you draw a box to capture a code, IDP now automatically converts it into a two-digit format. You no longer need to manually reformat codes after extraction. This keeps your data consistent and ready for downstream processing without extra cleanup.

3. Header Total for Full Table View

When you switch to full table view, the total now appears right in the header. You can see the overall figure at a glance without scrolling down to find it. This makes reviewing large tables quicker and keeps key numbers visible while you work.

4. Auto Suggest Line Item on Blank Field Click

Click on a blank field and IDP will now suggest the matching line item from the document for you. This reduces manual lookup and helps you fill in missing data faster. It's especially handy when working through documents with many line items.

5. Uppercase Auto Correct and Dropdowns for Country and Package Type

Country and package type entries are now automatically corrected to uppercase two digit codes, keeping your data standardized. On top of that, both fields now come with dropdown selection, so you can pick the right value instead of typing it out. Together these changes reduce input errors and keep your records consistent.

6. Strict GB Customs Field Dropdowns

Preference Code, LPCO Exemption Code, and Document Code (Category Code) fields now come with dropdown selection for GB customs filings. This keeps entries aligned with accepted GB customs values and reduces the risk of incorrect codes slipping through. It also makes filling out these fields quicker since you're choosing from a set list instead of typing free text.

7. Rerun and Add Documents

You can now rerun processing and add new documents to an existing batch in one action. This means you don't have to start a fresh batch just to bring in an additional document or trigger reprocessing. It gives you more flexibility when handling documents that arrive after the initial batch was submitted.

8. Feedback Option on IDP Listing Action Menu

A new feedback option is now available directly from the Action Menu on the IDP listing page. You can share feedback on a specific document or record right where you're working, without needing to leave the page or find another channel. This makes it easier for you to flag issues or suggestions as you go.
