What's New in IDP — September 2026

We've launched 7 new improvements to IDP this release to help you process documents faster, review with more confidence, and organise your work the way your team operates.

1. Workflow Flow Chart for Templates

You can now see your template workflow as a visual flow chart, making it easy to understand exactly how each step connects from extraction through to output. Complex templates with multiple conditions are much simpler to review, troubleshoot and share with your team. Everyone gets a clear picture of how documents move through your setup.

2. Full Preview on the Edit Page

Reviewing documents just got more comfortable. A new Full Preview option on the Edit page lets you expand the document to full view, so you can read every detail clearly without squinting at a side panel. Switch back to editing whenever you're ready and pick up right where you left off.

3. Customer-Specific Views

You can now create views tailored to each of your customers, so the fields, columns and layout you see match what matters for that customer's shipments. No more reconfiguring your screen every time you switch between accounts. Your team works faster and with fewer mistakes when every view is built around the customer in front of them.

4. Use Totals in Line Items with a Single Action

When a document only provides totals, you can now apply them directly to your line items in one click. This saves you from manually entering values line by line and keeps your declaration data consistent from the start. It's a small change that removes a lot of repetitive work.

5. Board View Alongside Listing

IDP now offers a Board View where your documents appear as tiles, giving you a quick visual overview of everything in progress. You can switch between the familiar list and the new tile layout at any time. Choose whichever suits the way you like to work.

6. Smart Suggestions for Pages to Keep and Remove

IDP now recommends which pages to keep and which to remove before processing, helping you clear out irrelevant pages like cover sheets, terms and blank pages. Cleaner documents mean faster extraction and more accurate results. You stay in control and can accept or ignore each suggestion.

7. Enhanced Preview Accuracy Across All Document Types

We've significantly improved how the preview maps extracted data back to the original document. When you select a field, the preview now highlights its exact location on the page, across every document type we support. Verifying data is quicker and you can trust that what you see is exactly where it came from.
