ENS Transport Mode at Border Error

Overview

When creating an ENS declaration, the Transport Mode at Border determines whether additional transport information is required.

Why ?

If the Transport Mode at Border is set to:

• 1 – Maritime
• 8 – Inland Water Transport

you must provide the Identity of Means of Transport Crossing the Border.

This should be either:

• IMO Ship Identification Number, or
• European Vessel Identification Number (ENI).
  
  

Make sure the required transport information is completed at the correct level before submission.
