Overview
An ENS submission may return a "Request body does not contain a well-formed XML document" error when unsupported characters are included in the declaration data.
Why ?
Check the information entered for the relevant contact.
For example, a special character such as "&" in the consignee name can cause the XML submitted to HMRC to be invalid.
Update the consignee name to remove the unsupported character and try submitting the ENS again.
