Overview
The EORI requirements for the consignee, consignor and declarant are different when creating an ENS declaration.
Why ?
If the consignee does not have an EORI, you can provide their name and address in the Contacts module.
A valid EORI is mandatory for the declarant.
If the consignor does not have an EORI or has a non-GB EORI, you can provide their name and address details instead.
This information can also help resolve errors such as MES.CEI.TIN, MES.LGM.TIN and related invalid-data errors.
