Overview
An Amendment is used to correct or update information in an ENS that has already been submitted to ICS2.
Why ?
An amendment may be required when information:
- Was entered incorrectly.
- Has changed.
- Requires correction.
Examples include goods description, quantity, weight, consignee or transport information.
The amendment is submitted against the same ENS and is then validated by ICS2.
An amendment does not restart the original ENS filing deadline.
