Overview
Both Duplicate and Clone create a copy of an existing declaration, but they handle declaration data differently.
Why ?
Duplicate creates a similar new declaration and resets unique information such as:
- LRN
- MRN
- Weights
Other fields remain pre-filled.
Clone creates an exact copy and carries over every field, including:
- LRN
- MRN
- Weights
Use Duplicate when creating a similar but new consignment and Clone when you need a complete replica.
